LEO van RIJN (Since 1994) "The Championmaker" Our good friend and partner in Holland, and a perennial Dutch Champion at the short and middle distance. Because of our friendship, we house the best of Leo's top pigeons and offspring from other Champions. "Keizer", "King, "Hertogin", "Harttrick", Freulle", "Eitjes Doffer". "First Lady" etc. This family is making a real impact in the USA, 98% of the vanRijn pigeons advertised in this country, have been imported by us. The 2001 O.B season started off with a bang for Leo, winning the Short Distance Championship against 400+ lofts in Rayon B. Out of the five official races, with an average of 6500+ pigeons per race, Leo won three races and finished in the top 10 in the other two. The Middle distance races started somewhat disappointing when he started with 20th position in Rayon B, but putting 8 in the first 50, again against 6000+ pigeons. He then came back in teh next race with a 3rd place and placing 7 pigeons in the first 23 positions. It looks like he's well on his way to winning the Middle Distance Championship also.
